The Korean term Taekwondo means foot and fists. The name is derived from the simple fact that sinewy kicks and fistful blows are an integral portion of Taekwondo. The match was launched to the Olympics at the 1988 Video games at Seoul. Even so, the match was formally a portion of the Olympic routine from the 2000 Games (Sydney).
