So, whenever there's a scheduled tour, it's advised to consider enough water supply, along with some energy drinks to maintain the body's fluid balance.

While many take advantage of the Samui weather to get a tan, your skin can become dry and patchy when subjected to the sun's rays. The use of lotion with SPF or sun protection factor of 15 and above is highly recommended. The damaging sunrays could cause sunburn, dark spots, and also at its worse, skin cancer. Better be safe than sorry.

Along with SPF lotions and drinking lots of water, wearing protective clothing and gears like sun visor and hat is also recommended. When by the pool, your body is subjected to greater quantity of sunrays since the water surface has a tendency to reflect the rays and cause some glare. To shield your body and also to keep up with the body's temperature, wearing loose and comfy cotton clothing is advised, especially during a beach stroll.

Since it is located in the tropics, Samui is also prone to rain showers and thunderstorms. During these times, it is advisable to steer clear of the beach and stay indoors, just to be on the safe side.
