Industrial lighting - Cleveland Manufacturer Joins ROI Energy To Support Sustained Energy Savings

Leading Cleveland Manufacturer easily lessens carbon footprint while doubling brightness levels and cutting their energy outlay.

High bay lighting - Cardinal Fastener Inc., the principal manufacturer of hot forged fasteners in North America, recently fulfilled a lighting retrofit of its 90,000 square foot manufacturing facility located in Cleveland, Ohio. This installation of energy efficient lighting reduced their Carbon Dioxide (CO2) emissions by 294 tons, the equivalent of removing 53 cars off the road or conserving 33,317 gallons of gasoline.

Cardinal Fastener brought in Bob Taussig's Northeast Ohio corporation, ROI Energy Solutions Inc., for the job. "This update improved the quality of light in the plant, increasing productivity and reducing our lighting energy costs by 48%," said Wendy Brugmann, EVP & COO of Cardinal Fastener. "I especially enjoyed working with ROI Energy, as they were efficient and did not interfere with operations in the least."

High bay lighting - John Grabner, President of Cardinal Fastener is quoted as saying, "Reducing Cardinal's carbon footprint is an important part of our sustainability plans going forward. This retrofit clearly demonstrates our awareness of and commitment to reducing our energy footprint." Solutions and Bob Taussig: ROI Energy Solutions provides lighting retrofits (conversions) allowing Northeastern Ohio businesses to become more energy efficient. Taussig, president of ROI Energy, confirms that companies generally recover 50% in lighting energy costs, attain twice the luminosity in manufacturing and warehouse facilities, catch a lucrative EPAct accelerated tax deduction worth tens of thousands of dollars and in nearly all situations qualify for utility company rebate incentives, aiding to compensate for the cost of these expenditure savings initiatives. Taussig said: "My clientele commonly achieve paybacks in well under 24 months."
