Celebrity News Blogging - How to get Celebrity News Visitors to Your Blog

Google Trends, as many of you knows, is a straightforward tool for gauging, hour by hour, what's hotly being looked for on the web. It's an incredibly versatile and innovative tool, and contains proved extremely handy for news agencies, Internet users, and Webmasters alike. It has a tendency to concentrate on news blogs, which is excellent for small Webmaster who is attempting to get more traffic to his blog.

I guess you can class me among those smaller Webmasters, and to be sure, I usually keep one eye fixed on the internet trends. I have learned from studying this mysteriously excellent service that most Online users are only interested in the 3 things:

celebrity news

1. Nudity 2. Crime and serial killers 3. Celebrities, celebrities, and more celebrities

I am sure that i'm not the only Webmaster to have picked up the surprising obsession with celebrity culture which grips the average Internet user. The traffic flows in the search engines alone with this niche topic are beyond belief, with lots of millions perhaps searching for one hot celebrity name every hour, traffic which far outstrips seemingly more weighty and important topics in the news. In a nutshell, the mass benefit of celebrity and celebrity news scandals is quite breathtaking and regularly shows itself on a massive scale.

There's been a recent trend for Webmasters and blog owners to follow Google trends using their blogs, and I must admit that i'm among these Webmasters. Let me give you a good example of how effective it can be. At 1:00 PM, it had been announced on Google trends that Rachel Ray, the popular TV cook, had done a risque photo aim for FHM. I had been lucky enough to learn about this at 1:05 PM. I wrote a fast five-minute blog post about this topic, not thinking it might come to much. Boy was I wrong. I checked back on my small websites stat counter later on that day and located that 60,000 unique visitors had been delivered to my blog by Google.

How is this type of massive jump in traffic possible, without a huge amount of effort regarding seo? It just looks as climax a simple question of competition. Once the latest celebrity scandal breaks and it is reported on trends, for the next few minutes, there's extremely scant competition on the internet for that comparatively unique set of keywords which represent said scandal. It is a formula which continuously works best for me and other Webmasters, some of whom even admit on their own blog that they are just following Google trends. Obviously to limit oneself to Google trends on a blog will be a restrictive move which i would not recommend.

Google trends means me to write about interesting celebrity news stories, knowing that they won't be immediately overlooked and forgotten. There is now an opportunity for any Webmaster to obtain significant traffic, fast and free, out of this innovative and ingenious Google tool.
