Lionel Messi - The very best Footballer Ever?

Arguably two of the best footballers of the current decade, are, at glance, similar players. They're both attackers, great by using a ball, and both play for the Spanish club. However there could only be one winner, so here's the comparison: Messi Vs Cristiano 2012.

Lionel Messi

Lionel is simply 24 years and currently plays for fc Barcelona. Born in Rosario, Messi started playing football with the day of 5, under his father's wings, at the local club. That's exactly what rolled into the Barca youth team where he worked his right up from C-B teams towards main squad in rapid pace. His debut in the best class of football began along at the age of 16, throughout a friendly against FC Porto.

Now in 2011 you need to analyse his form of play and it also becomes superior that he's a master using the ball. Because of his short length and fast legs, any opponent will have a problem managing him. However unlike most magicians, he's plus a stylish terrific team player.

Cristiano Ronaldo

Cristiano is 26 yr old and is particularly a proper Madrid player. Ronaldo started his career at Sporting (2002) and in 2003 he guided his team with a win from the big Manchester United. However successful has to be chosen and in my personal that winner is Cristiano Ronaldo. At that point Messi may have the edge on the field, but Ronaldo has great free kicks which is clearly stronger physically. The trade off being that Messi is the better team player. Walking out to Ronaldo when he played for Man utd and some time past he was, definitely, the perfect player in the planet. His way of attacking suited the wing-play of Manchester United perfectly, and even though less obvious in Madrid's style of play, his past years can absolutely be considered. Also in Ronaldo's favour is his great charisma from the pitch. Messi is a pure footballer and does not have that same level of personality outside of the field, something past greats (Cruijff, Maradona) did have.

That is certainly it because of this comparison. Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi share lots of qualities; especially the ball manner of both is revolutionary. And while Messi currently contains the edge, in my Ronaldo will be the more complete footballer in period of time, not partly as a consequence of his great charisma both don and doff the pitch. However they're both very young so in the future this slight favour can actually swing either way.
