The Korean phrase Taekwondo indicates foot and fists. The title is derived from the fact that sinewy kicks and fistful blows are an integral element of Taekwondo. The game was launched to the Olympics at the 1988 Game titles at Seoul. Even so, the sport was formally a part of the Olympic schedule from the 2000 Video games (Sydney).
