Strut Your Stuff

When each of the girls during my house get ready for the afternoon it's a MAJOR process. With all of five folks in that room as well, you would think you're inside the bathroom of a college sorority. Between each of the make- up, curling irons, hair straighteners, noise from the hair dryer, you are going to hear music and some women singing. It's like attending your individual concert in our (my) bathroom. Yes, they've their unique bathroom, but for some reason mine could be the "cool" one.

Like most girls, my girls like to listen to exactly the same song frequently and over. A lot like when they were toddlers and watched the same Disney movie again and again. The song associated with preference lately may be "That One Thing" by New Direction, an becoming more popular boy band. My twelve-year-old is determined to create one of these simple boys my future son-in-law.

Basically these boys fall in love with this girl because she's got that "One Thing" which they just can't describe. So my youngest daughter wanted to ask... "What is That One Thing" and Does she contain it?

So my crazy, sixteen year old pipes up... "They are most likely referring to boobs."

Me: Um... NO... Try again... Besides there are two of these not one.

So what is "That One Thing"?

If I was required to require a wild guess, I'd say it is:

Confidence

There exists just something of a woman that's confident in who she's. Men are interested in it, other women envy it, it is simply "That One Thing" of a woman that makes her... who she actually is.

So I looked into how you can gain confidence and located this...

HMMMM... If your to embarrassed to attempt it in public, I suggest donning an audio track, (try "That One Thing"by New Direction) and check out your new catwalk in front of your children first. If doing the catwalk in front of your young ones doesn't give you confidence (or laughter), I'm not sure after that. Without having kids... check it out looking at one.
