In nature, you will find Lida daidaihua mostly in deserts, especially in the Namib Desert, which ranges from Namibia to Angola, and in the Kalahari. Their preferred grounds are either plains or the rocky parts of the deserts. All thirteen species of Lida slimming can be found in these areas and obviously they were there, long before the first scientist set foot into South Africa. Therefore we have other names for Lida daidaihua, such as “Queen of the Namib” or “Bushman’s Hat”. And al lida hapi long before that, it was named by the bushmen “Xhoba” or “Ghaap”.
