There are many products on the market today that contain hydroquinone. Very few products contain 20 Hydroquinone because this ingredient is very strong and has a very powerful effect on the skin. Some people have reported lightening up to 6 to 7 shades within a few months. Skin lightening is a big industry and its revenue is in the Hundreds of Billions of dollars every years. Skin lightening has occurred for many years. Women and men have desired a lighter complexion and nature has provided many resources to aid in this human request for lighter, brighter skin. For some reason people with darker skin tones are often views by others of their race with a negative stigma. Dark skinned people desiring to lighten their skin are looked at by their own communities as turn coats. They are thought to have extremely low self-esteem and very poor self-image. They are thought to have self-hatred and even trader of their own race. Perhaps, people have viewed these individuals wrongly. Maybe, the desire for a different skin tone is not as villainous as people once thought.

It is not clear why there is a stigma associated with skin lightening. Possibly, some people with darker skin tones perceive the images in media and the beauty industry as being mostly whiter skinned people. Furthermore, some critics’ state that dark skinned people have not been represented enough in the public arena and there are not nearly enough black and brown skinned models, actors, and celebrities for young children to look up too and aspire to be like. This school of thought is that people who desire to lighten themselves view the definition of beauty through someone else’s eyes and those eyes are jaded by a certain group of people perception.

When people of white and fair skin tones decide they want to darken their skin no stigma is attached to their decision. However, when dark skinned people want to lighten their skin they are self-haters that need mental therapy and intense counseling. This way of thinking shows a doubled standard that should not have a place in any society. People should have the right and freedom to lighten their skin or darken it with such harsh criticism. Yes, the hue of one’s skin is beautiful and should be beautiful in the eyes of the one it’s on, but beauty it just that in the eyes of the beholder. If a person wants to lighten or darken their skin they should be allow to do so free. I few skin shades lighter and darker will not destroy a person’s life, but it may help them to be more confident and feel more beautiful. Skin lightening creams and skin bleaching pills could very well help to improve a person’s life.

Skin is just the thing that covers who we really are. Who each person is truly is inside of them. The outside of a person does not make them who they are. It is a person’s character that is the true essence to their being. Therefore, I recommend that each person make whatever changes and improvement they would like on the outside of their bodies and please don’t forget to make positive changes on the inside of themselves as well. Become the best person you can become in every area of your life. You only have one life so enjoy it to the fullest. There is a product on the market that can give amazing results: skin bleaching.
