If you listen to today's music on the radio, you will hear a wide variety of songs and beats. You even today hear men and women singing over hip hop beats, and people rapping over r&b beats! The two genres are blending a lot in today's music. A single of the errors that several underground rap artists make is, they are so concerned about becoming what they call "true" as in becoming gangsta or tough.
It seems like they are much more concerned about becoming "actual" then they are about promoting records and creating cash. So they use only beats that are hard and "gangsta" sounding. They speak about shooting and killing more than these hard rap beats. It is ok for them to do this if this is what they want, but each song on the album can not be that way if they want to be a productive multi-platinum promoting artist. If you want to get your music on the radio, and on BET or MTV, you have to have at least a handful of singles, that are much more commercial.
A lot of artists do not do this, and they miss out on a complete entire market of attainable buyers! The objective is to capture the attention of these folks via mass media such as the radio and television, so that they will buy the album. Once they purchase the album, they will then have access to the rest of your different designs.
Keep This in Mind:
People in the streets will burn your CD! Listeners from the Radio and T.V. will purchase your CD!
Which a single do you think will get you to Platinum Status More rapidly?
My artists are going to sell 200,000+ CD's this year! How about you?
So the point is, if your goal is to capture as many sells as you can, then you have to make music that everybody can listen to. You can not make music only for the streets. You have to make it for the streets, the club, the radio/television, and for the auto. That way, you can receive sells and income from all of these distinct markets, as an alternative of just from the streets. Today's hit music has one particular point in typical: No matter how stupid it may sound, it is catchy. Don't feel me? Listen to Laffy Taffy! It may get horrible ratings from a lot of Hip-Hop Heads, but the girls adore it, and it sticks with you. Consider about it: How many occasions have you talked about it with somebody because the song came out? How several times have you listened to it when it came on the radio just to see how stupid it was? hip hop beatz hip hop beatz company web site
