The Korean term Taekwondo means foot and fists. The title is derived from the reality that sinewy kicks and fistful blows are an integral component of Taekwondo. The match was launched to the Olympics at the 1988 Games at Seoul. However, the match was officially a part of the Olympic schedule from the 2000 Video games (Sydney).
