What happens each time a New York ad agency's creative team is booted from their posh offices and moved a 70's style sea of ugly earth toned cubicles?

Thatrrrs what happened at Grey Los angeles - an innovator in advertising since 1917. The agency had become just slightly stale - prior to new creative chief, Tor Myhren, emerged.

New York Creative Agency Sensing the demand for a big shift - Myhren took Defy Gravity towards a whole new level. He uprooted his team using status quo digs. Not more posh offices. They transferred to the 2nd amount a ~30 year-old building - featuring brown cubes.

Show them the move to motivate his team - he shot a kickbutt music video singing his well-known version of "Nothing Compares to Two." Two being the fresh new floor of the company's creative home.

Try it out IT'S A MASTERPIECE!

The change in office space was just the beginning.

As the web and creative media really shot to popularity, Myhran took a pointy turn right into the vortex. He moved production in-house, allowing Grey to construct spots sooner and at less expensive.
