Thank goodness I used the show unit 1st. i noticed the iPad was slightly too bulky for my style, no flash or microSD card slot (!!!), and i wanted an interface I could customize alittle more. the kind man that worked there asked me what I wanted in an exceedingly tablet, and i replied that i would need it largely for e-mail, games, videos, e-book reading, and light-weight web-browsing and he steered the Kindle fire. when playing around with the fireplace for maybe 30 minutes, i made a decision the scale was perfect, but I knew I required a pill with Google Play after taking a look at Amazon's AppStore. I then migrated to the Galaxy Tab 2 seven.0. abundant lighter and easier to carry, had Google Play + cameras and a microphone (with a 3-year recent at home, a microphone may be a must for Talking Tom!), and ICS, but what very sold me was the screen quality. i was wowed once I watched the Moments of everyday life demo video. Looked higher than my TV. So, of course I had to buy it. I've now had it for one 1/2 days, and am passionate about it. My Nook magizenes and books synced to my device quickly and easily, games like Talking Tom, Bakery Story, and little Tower work nice, the device is much faster than I expected, and customizing my Tab 2 with wallpapers and such took minutes. I actually do not mind TouchWiz. i like waking up in the morning and being able to ascertain the weather and high stories on Yahoo by simply turning on my pill. Multitouch is nice, Fruit Ninja worked with 5 fingers. Overall it is a good buy, and therefore the additional $50 I spent on this than the Kindle hearth is the least of my worries.
