 Flame dancing is the most oldest and mystifying ritual, at which barefoot dancers walk on top of burning ashes. This sacred and mystical ritual for expelling health issues, for healthiness and effectiveness is one that must be experienced to be thought. The Festival of Roses is widely known along at the foot of this Balkan mountain range, inside the Rose Valley in close proximity to the town of Kazanluk. Celebrated of the earliest weekend of each June, the festival is known as a pageant of beauty within the irreplaceable Rose Valley. During the run-up of the event, a Queen Rose beauty competition is held in several rounds.  Easter in Bulgaria is an Orthodox custom, symbolized by a red egg (or Pascha). In our time other colors are employed and also the eggs are painted upon Holy Thursday after the Divine Liturgy.  The eggs are cracked following the midnight church ceremony and all along the next days. One egg is cracked upon the wall of the church, being the initial egg eaten afterward the lengthy fast.
