Use Professionally Designed Headers, Graphics, Logos, and/or Templates Content may be king, but if it's possible to complement it with some sort of grand eloquent design then why not? Your visitors will always "see" before they "read", and this first impression may be the difference between sale and "womp womp." Always remember again to stay consistent throughout. If you speak professionally, then use professional design. If you're a downtown kid, by all means go crazy artistic. Just let your audience know you before they 'know' you. 7. Get To It. Be Clear on What Your Website is About By nature, people are impatient. We all search for instant gratification. It's the reason we play the lottery. It's the reason casinos survive. If someone visiting your website is blitzed with information they never asked for, believe like gravity they won't come back let alone move forward. Use every inch of your website to define what you're about and what your service is; from graphics to images and maybe even your ads. Welcome your visitors with the notion that the moment they clicked on your link, they found "exactly" what they were looking for. 8. Use Protection at All Times Use a "legal disclaimer" such as a privacy policy on all your sites to protect yourself and your business. By doing this, you 'expect' to earn an income that needs to be protected. Expect it and it will always happen. 9.
